Vancouver’s Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics presented CODE LIVE, a 18-day landmark event with visual art exhibitions, music and performances fueled by digital technology and audience involvement. The opening night concert starred London AV remixers Addictive TV and San Francisco’s video turntablist Mike Relm, with support from DJ K-Tel.

For this special event, Addictive TV created a short video to open their set, remixing skiing, snowboarding and speed skating into a fidget-glitch track – all the rhythms and glitch sounds you hear are made from the shots you see!

And in his trademark suit and glasses, turntablist Mike Relm whipped the crowd up into a frenzy with his video scratching skills! Fantastic night, here’s a few photos…
